Sessions in the place your child is most comfortable — working on real routines like mornings, meals, and bedtime.

Practicing skills out in the community, where they're actually needed.

You learn the strategies too, so progress carries into the rest of the week.

Getting dressed turns into a struggle.
Leaving the house feels unpredictable.
Your child can't always tell you what they want or need.
Mealtimes, bedtime, school, and simple changes in routine become stressful for everyone.
You love your child. You want to help.
But love doesn't automatically give you the tools to understand why certain behaviors are happening — or how to help your child develop the skills they need to navigate those moments. You may find yourself wondering whether your child will learn to communicate what they need, become more independent, or whether everyday routines will ever feel easier.
You shouldn't have to figure all of this out by yourself. The right support can help you understand your child's needs — and give your child opportunities to learn important skills one step at a time.

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA therapy, is an evidence-based approach that helps children develop meaningful skills through individualized teaching, positive reinforcement, and consistent practice.
At Lakeside ABA there's no one-size-fits-all program. Your child's therapy plan is built around their individual strengths, needs, and goals — and delivered in your home and community. Depending on your child, therapy may focus on:
Progress happens differently for every child. That's why treatment goals are individualized to your child — not based on where someone thinks they "should" be.
Find Out If ABA Is Right for Your Child
Imagine your child finding a better way to communicate what they want.
Handling a transition that once felt impossible.
Learning to complete part of their morning routine more independently.
Participating more comfortably in family activities.
Developing skills that make it easier to learn, communicate, play, and interact with the world around them.
These changes don't usually happen overnight. They happen through small skills learned and practiced over time — and those small victories add up to meaningful progress.
Before therapy begins, we take the time to understand your child's abilities, challenges, interests, routines, and needs. From there, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) builds an individualized plan. Here's how it goes:
Complete the short form and speak with our team about your child's needs, diagnosis, insurance coverage, and the support you're looking for.
A BCBA evaluates your child's skills and works with your family to identify meaningful treatment goals.
Your child works with trained ABA professionals in your home and community, following a plan developed and supervised by a BCBA.
Progress is monitored throughout treatment so the program evolves as your child learns and grows.
Children don't live in therapy rooms. They live at home. They get ready in the morning, eat meals with their families, play, go to school, visit relatives, and run into unexpected changes. That's why Lakeside ABA brings therapy to you — so the goal isn't simply to teach a skill, but to help your child use it where it matters. In everyday life.
Because we work in your home and community, your child practices new skills exactly where they'll need them — the kitchen table, the car, the grocery store, grandma's house.
Your child's clinical team helps you understand behavior, recognize what may be contributing to difficult moments, and learn strategies you can use throughout the week. You're not watching from the sidelines — you're gaining tools.
Every child with autism is different. One may need help communicating basic wants; another may struggle with transitions or social interaction; another may need support with everyday living skills. The right goals are the ones that are meaningful for your child and your family.
Every plan is developed and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, using established principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach meaningful skills.

Your child's treatment plan is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or other trained therapy staff may work directly with your child under BCBA supervision.
Sessions vary depending on the child and their goals. Therapy may incorporate structured teaching, play, everyday routines, reinforcement, and opportunities to practice new skills in different situations around your home and community.
There isn't one schedule that's right for every child. Recommended intensity depends on your child's age, current skills, treatment goals, clinical needs, and insurance authorization. A BCBA makes recommendations after completing an assessment.
